Months of maceration (outside - no heat).
When the meat was gone, I dumped all the "cleaner" used degreasing solutions (from inside) into the buckets with the Javelina.
Process: Filled buckets just up to the top of the skull (which leaves alot of room), dumped the "used" degreasing solutions into the  buckets - Changed once per week. No heat.

I haven't put the teeth/tusks back in and the skull on the left is leaching grease in the lower jaw/back of head (back to degreasing  Sad)

Thanks Bosch,
The juvenile on the right has double tusks top and bottom - unusual. I'll post close up pictures when I get the teeth in.

Thanks everyone. Post skulls of any kind - I really didn't mean it had to be javelina!

RD show us your new toy. Grin

Rick P - I don't sell any raw - I'm more of a buyer - all of these Javelina are from a hunting trip with the buddies - ALL FREEBIES. If you need a raw Javelina, PM me and I'll give you the number to a ranch owner that will probably send you some (for a nominal fee Wink.

Looks good
Four months with no heat ....impressive!
Like the buckets with the caps on lid makes pouring off and not losing teeth easier

Clay, It was a bugger to degrease for being so small. Could have stayed in the beetles a few more days. Sutures still had membrane. Dissolved them in a few days in straight 5% ammonia. Whitening now. Will be ready this week.
