RD "Clay, It was a bugger to degrease for being so small. Could have stayed in the beetles a few more days. Sutures still had membrane. Dissolved them in a few days in straight 5% ammonia. Whitening now. Will be ready this week."
I'm having the EXACT same problem - left over tissue and a greasy little bastard, I haven't gone to the straight ammonia - yet.  Wink
It was also covered in mold (green and black) from the trip "across the pond".

Nice work Clay, I have a few going out this week, I will get some pics also.  Antler, bear looks good, no splits on the canines.  Plaque looks a little big though.

I posted these a little to soon. Because the big one leached grease, I have returned all of the javelina to degreasing. I'll update when they are REALLY done.
