Academy of Realistic Taxidermy

I'm very seriously researching various taxidermy schools, and so far I'm leaning most toward the Acadamy of Realistic Taxidermy in Montana for several reasons. Housing is a HUGE issue for me, and I like the fact that for a flat fee everything is included. The eight week curriculum is about what I am looking for. I have a good deal of experience in lifesize small mammals. As for everything else--I am looking for a good solid introduction. I am a 28 yo woman from an urban area. The remote location is particularly appealing as I would like to really tune out everything and learn a great deal during this time. And I know it sounds silly, but as a woman I worry about chauvamism within the schools.
Would anyone who has attended this school be willing to share their experiences? Advise? Any young women who have attended this school or others?
Any imput welcome.

steve is a good person and runs a first rate school. He would not tolerate any chauvamism or discrimination..

I attended in August, and I'm a 22 year old from California...
I learned a ton.
If you have any questions go ahead and PM me.

I am from Oregon and I am attending A.R.T. in May. From all my research they seemed to be top notch which is what made me choose them ( housing also helps). I am leaving my family for 8 weeks so i fully intend on getting everything out of it as possible and from what I have seen and heard I will get just that. Not that this helps you in your descision but just my 2 cents on my research.
