To me it doesn't matter how you spend it, on the plane, rental car, dinner with your wife, power bill, house payment, taxidermy supplies for work, It just makes me feel good to try and help someone that is trying to help someone else. I doubt there will be any stipulations with anything your getting from the wonderful people on this site

Harry Paulson-grateful

« Reply #16 on: June 30, 2010, 01:20:16 PM »

My name is Julie Chambers,  daughter to Harry Paulson. While it may not be possible, I wish I could look each and every one of you in the eye, give you a hug and thank you for your outpouring of love and generosity. Michael is an unbelievable man, an angel in fact. ONE WEVE BEEN PRAYING FOR, FOR FIVE YEARS! On behalf of my 5 brothers and sisters and dads 19 grandchildren I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this opportunity to keep our father and granpapa with us for as long as possible.  Having lost our incredible mom to cancer and earth shattering 20 years ago, we are humbled and grateful at your willingness to help us. Michael, you and Miranda will forever be family! We cant get through your emails or posts (or the posts of others) without crying, sometimes accompanied by laughter but nonetheless, overwhelming gratitude to you and your family, (we now keep a box of tissue next to the computer). You are a very special individual with words we cannot find to truly express what you encompass. Please accept and surrender (as you said dad needs to, with the compassion and generosity  of friends you have on this site.) We wish we could give you and your wife Mirand a blank check and all you talk about is getting  to work so you can take time out to save our dads life! We as a FAMILY will do whatever it takes to help you and Miranda and will still forever be in your debt. Thank you Michael. Thank you Miranda.  THANK YOU GOD FOR SENDING HIM TO US! THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR PLAN AND ALL THE AMAZING, SELFLESS, COMPASSIONATE,BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE IN IT! MANY OF WHICH ARE ON THIS SITE. Humbly I thank you all again,  Julie Chambers  Smiley

Julie, your dad has been an important part of our industry for many years, and has made so many strong friendships. Hes OUR family member, as taxidermists. Theres just no way we wouldnt all try to help in our own way, big or small. To help Michael IS help to Harry, too. This big family of taxidermist might fight amongst each other, but our industry blood is thicker than water, and we rally for one another. I think I can say for everyone that its our honor, a privilege, to be able to help one of our own. We all come away a better person for this. Thank YOU.

Mike I wont repeat all of the wonderful things that others have said of you and your generosity over the recent past.  I will say however, that you are a person that demands respect not just for the most recent endeavor you are about to undertake but also for all that you have shared with this taxi community .  I have learned an unbelievable amount from the posts you leave and would someday love to do the meet and greet with you and your family.  I will also say this, from what I have learned of you and your incredible generosity I wake every day and try to be a better human being.  For some it is easy and others more difficult.  For me as I sit and read these posts , it is increasingly easier.  To you I take my hat off and extend to you a very heart felt THANK YOU.  Thank you for teaching me that everyday I should be looking to help someone else in need, no matter what the situation.  Take care and I wish you both a speedy recovery.
