If you thing pressure works so good you should try vacuum. It takes half the time think about turning it in to a vacuum tanner.Wont last to long being aluminum though. At least you wont blow your self or  some one els up. Remember safety is number 1

Just ordered my new tanner from Dan Rinehart.  I will receive it in 2-3 weeks. Will keep anyone that wants info posted after I try it out!

That's what I have. And like it. Just use the intended tanning crystals. I am new at this, but what I know from study and inquire it seems to work well. Even better then some other tans that I work with. I would still say do your home work before you putt your money into it.

Our first machine was from Steve Rotramel and basically wore it out. after 10 years it did its job. Last summer we got a 45 gallon model from Rineharts and just love it. for anyone who hasnt tried a pressure tanner Dan includes a instructional DVD so theres no guesswork. Steve Rotramel the inventor of the pressure tanner is also in the DVD. , Mark

I've had a Auto-Tanner for 6 years now. Works as good as the day I Bought It. Pressure manifold wears out often. But other then that , it works great.  Tanning crystals from Van Dyke's. 50 cents a lb. Plus shipping of course. Work as good as any others.

I have an older model that i bought from silverbrook last year. I use the bucktan crystals. I got tired of putting on new manifold every couple of months so i tried it with out the pressure ant a longer run time. I cant tell any difference. I have noticed that even Thu i don't use pressure when i take the lid off air pressure releases from the tank. I guess do to the rotation air persure in the tank rises any way. I do use longer run times. usually 5 or 6 capes overnight. Then shave them add oil and run overnight again

Guys,, this topic of Pressure vs No pressure came up last year,, it doesnt do anything.. try it for yourself.
The Auto Tanner is a great tanning machine but has nothing to do with the pressure,, check this out:
http://www.taxidermy.net/forum/index.php/topic,164599.0.html

I havent been pressuring my tank since then,, and Absolutely no difference. not even once.
its all up to you.
cheers
