Give S&S a look. They have a very solid machine. I think they also have a new version suitable for a tannery.

guys you can't use Dakota fleshers and expect them to not get rusty.  I have had my Dakota IV for 10 years and it's not rusty.  Granted the baked enamel coating is pretty much gone but the machine is nice and clean.  I clean it after every use.  After I clean it, I thoroughly dry it and then rub it down with 3M oil.  After that I wrap it up and keep It wrapped up tight with an old shirt.  That's it.  A little maintenance goes a long way.

Dan nailed this one. EVERYTHING corrodes.  Stainless steel will rust.  Even aluminum corrodes badly. The word is MAINTENANCE.   Now if you need or want a new fleshing machine, it doesn't get any better than the Dakota Pro.
