This barrel is outside in a shed on a wooden floor. I do use it for getting grease out of skullls, but for a beginner, maybe stay with a longer soak in strong Dawn. I used to use Coleman fuel but I just didn't like the gas smell and the Acetone evaporates faster. Acetone is also not cheap. If you don't boil the skulls they should degrease quickly.
