In need of a kid friendly rabbit tanning ....

Our girls are in 4H and learning alot about rabbits.  We have 4 rabbit hides that we want to tan but don't want to use an acid.  Is there a tanning solution out there that is kid friendly ?

Rittel's EZ100 Tanning Kit
