Taxidermy... A High School Club???

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience setting up a High School taxidermy club. I am currently a Chemistry/8th grade science teacher. I previously taught Biology and 6th grade sci. as well. I was thinking about introducing some kids to taxidermy through the science club that I sponsor. However, I would like to talk to someone who has had experience doing this. Any feedback would be appreciated. I know that there are going to be a lot of pros and cons. I have only been able to find one article (some school in PA) on the internet dealing with this topic. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I have been teaching a high school class taxidermy for the last seven years as a subcontractor. The class is a plant and animal science class that consist of juniors and seniors from across the county and five differant districts. If you want to discuss this further I would be happy to talk to you about it. Send me a pm with your number and I will call you when I get back from my bear hunting trip next week.
Thanks,
Curtis

We live in a rural area with a small school. We have an ag instructor, who as part of his class, has the kids mount a squirrel/deer. It is well received and lots of fun for the kids.
