So many whitetails...So little time!

I am putting the finishing touches on this one today. I know many in here are not 'snake fans', to say the least, but I find reptiles fascinating and beautiful so I decided to paint one. Smiley

Awesome! I don't have any snakes any more, but have had several over the years. Have a couple of bearded dragons, blue-tongue skinks, leopard geckos, Chinese water dragons, green male basilisk, fringed geckos and a 3' alligator now, though. Oh, and three sulcata tortoises. (Wow...didn't realize I still have so many herps! LOL!)

Thanks Vicki! Smiley

Wow! You have quite a collection! I'm down to a handful of "pet" snakes myself. There was a time I had over 60 ball pythons and I used to keep the big snakes years ago. I now have a few colubrids and an albino ball python. Smiley

A few years ago, I had pretty well every color imaginable of corn snakes. Had some lilac and hi-white kings. Ball pythons. Couple of 8' red-tail boas. Kenyan sand boas. And a couple of Brazilian rainbows and some Sinoloan milks. Had them in the taxidermy studio, in their own room. Unfortunately, a space heater with a thermostat malfunctioned and it fried almost all of them. Only a few of the ones housed lower to the floor survived.  Sad

Got a bunch of aquariums as well. (Too many!!!) In the marine tanks, I have a 240 predator tank with a huge lion fish, dogface puffer, yellow tang and banana wrassed. Had to put a divider in it, as the lion was growing way faster than the others and they would have been lunch. I feed him pelleted food. Much cleaner & cheaper than live feeder fish. Also in the marine line, I have a 125 reef tank (not much in the corals anymore. Mostly fish.); a 55 fish-only and a 12-gal 'cube' with some soft corals and a pair of clown fish.

In the freshwater, I've got a 55, couple of 29/30s, couple oif 10s, a 5 and one of those little desk-top 1 gallons with a betta in it. Guess you could say I"m 'critter crazy'! LOL! Don't get me started on the birds, dogs and horses!!!

When i lived in Long beach Ca...I had a Burmese Python i raised from a hatchling...she grew to over 12 feet long in a few short years...I could walk in some of the worst neighborhoods with her wrapped around me...nothing like having the sidewalk clear out in front of you...I felt like Moses parting the Red Sea
