I have no argument against catch poles or head shots as being effective, although I think when we debate stuff sometimes, the people I debate with havent tried the other persons method before saying its not best. Ive stood on top of enough coons to know that I dont have that much time to wait, while they lift me up, and stay breathing for way too long. Im not knocking those who do it that way though. Also, head shots...no matter how you do it, you shoot through shorter head hair that sometimes shows if the hair gets cut, and thinner skin that sometimes stretches, vs a heart/lung shot thats so easy to hide with hair twice as long, in a less viewed area. To me, its just the best method.

Good luck to all of you regardless of how you get em down, Im glad youre out there doing it and happy.
