Dang - buddie of mine just got back from AK with a 58 incher and just kept the horns and meat. The entire hide is in the bush. He could probably have paid for his trip with the hide.

Dennis,

My wife has the archery tag for moose on base and season runs until 15 Nov.. Rare to get a moose that time of year unless it is roadkill, and the state gets em anyway.. if we can call one in and she gets it, I will skin it anyway yo like..

Hi Dennis,

Sent you a PM I've got an excellent one for you, but unfortunatly its dorsaled. Can't remember ever regreting dorsal cutting a moose. LOL its much easier to ventral skin them.

Dave Scheller mentioned to me that you were possibly looking for a large lifesize moose hide..............i have several large lifesize moose..........all extra large........last one was harvested a week ago off a 62 " bull......email me at wildlifetaxidermy@shaw.ca if you are interested and i can send you a copy of my sale list........or you can phone me at 250-545-4614 to discuss details.............note that i am leaving on a sheep hunt on tuesday and will be away until october 21...........Ken Schultz
