the weather in GA is kinda cold and hot (warm) and i was expecting some snakes, but i can't find them (which is odd) , do i need to use a particular bait? if so what and how can i find some snakes?

Try flipping rocks and logs along bodies of water.  Make sure you know how to use snake tongs and you know what snakes are poisonous and which ones aren't...  Be careful
