This is from last week, what I should have been working on.

This is what I did instead.

25'' Yelloweye Rockfish from Lake Country Replicas.

First for me, and kinda interesting to work on.  Scales have an interesting texture on them, and the head is wicked too!!!

Prefer Jeff's SLL, but as of yet, he doesn't have any big enough.  I had some GINORMOUS flexeyes given to me with a bunch of blanks, so I threw these in there.

Turned out ok?

Im back in Iowa hunting, and watching my brother play ball for a couple days, but will be back in the grind kickin some reproduction arseee!!!!!!

Great work everyone. Some sweet projects you guys are working on. I'm still trying to get the Apoxie on a smallmouth mount to dry so I can sand and paint.

finished my first reproduction yesterday. i mean my first custom mold and cast. it was like an 8 inch white crappie. it was really fun creating my own reproduction and it gave me an awsome feeling of accomplishment when all was said and done. really fun project. going to mold and cast a rockbass next. then maybe a trout or something.
