tube or dorsal skinning for mink
«

I got a mink that i took with the shotgun while hunting for rabbits and squirrels, anyway i'm going to mount him. I wanted to know what way i should skin hin without having anything show, and i would like to make an original pose with the carcass then mold it for future use, how hard are these to mount, from skinning to the actual mounting process.

Skinning the mink depends on what pose you decide to do. I split it on the side that doesn't show. Watch skinning around
the tail so you dont cut the scent glands, the scent will linger for days like a skunk. I wear rubber gloves and skin them outside.
Wash it good and i soak it in downey fabric softner for a little while to get the smell out, flesh , tumble and mount they
are not hard.
