Hi Me again… I know… twice in one week! I come to you however to share some cool stuff! I like to be able to share with my friends when I can in the spirit of this Christmas Season and help bring opportunity to those who may not be able to find the way to get some of the same information that can change how you and I look at fish! Today’s dark Economics aside I give this to you as a gift because I want to help one person today… You (you know who you are)!
I want to share something with you that I was asked today for by a close friend who is having a tough time right now both in business and in life. He asked me to share with all of you…So I shall! I think from the beginner to any of us who do taxidermy or wood carvings of beautiful fish you will enjoy and find a little benefit from this 3-part tutorial that is found on the second disk of the New Anglers Artistry Black Crappie Reproduction DVD set.
Weather it is mounting a fish or bird, game head, or carving a fish out of wood, etc… we all need to be able to interrupt reference material. I have included in each and every one of the “New “Anglers Artistry DVD’s series a section on species specific reference and how I touch on the need for learning what I maybe looking at when it comes to painting or any aspect of fish work. I touch on in this video opportunity what I teach here at the studio and I hope it benefits you a little to get a start or a different perspective on reference material.
I juts watched it on Youtube and it look fine on the “Youtube” format but for sure a lot better on the DVD! In this oppertunity I want you to get a feel of what the importance’s is to the modern taxidermist regarding reference interpretation. This Youtube format is a 3-part lesson on the Youtube site, which you can just click on, and access the other 2 sections once you’re done with the first section.
My goal is to be a teacher of fish taxidermy and to help you reach your goals weather it is to be a better taxidermist or just to have some fun learning taxidermy I wish you the very best in your efforts and your education!
Enjoy this opportunity to learn!
