I still like Michael P's recipe a lot. It's not too thin, it holds well, and it's relatively cheap.

What killed me on the Pro-1 was the shipping. $55 to ship a gallon made it cost prohibitive for me.

So has anybody bought a 5 gallon jug of this and put it into seperate 1 gallon sealed paint containers? If so what would the shelf life be and also can you use metal gallon containers or have to use plastic.

I just put it into one gallon container as I need it and leave the rest in the 5 gallon bucket. I will be leaving a gallon or two over the summer and it will be just fine.
