How would you like to compete for FREE.

Now you can.

This year at the  Alaska Taxidermist Competition & SCI show , there are No fees for entering mounts for the competition. Thats right NO FEES.

& even more good news, for every entree you bring that will be in the Judged competition, you will receive a raffle ticket for a gun drawing.

Bring 20 mounts , you get 20 entrees.

On top of this good stuff, SCI AK has graciously donated ALOT of money for various awards.  $ 3000.00 in fact.

So now you can compete for free to try to win a trophy & MONEY.

There will be 4 Divisions of competition ;

Commercial

Armature or Novice

Professional or OPEN

& Masters.

& Now heres anouther GREAT addition to the show,

A Television crew is coming to the show to do a segment about the Taxidermy show & the SCI AK chapter function.

Now put this all together & heres what you have;

A Show that costs you Nothing to compete in, that you might win some big money or a Riffle & Your mounts might be shown to the WORLD on a TV show.

How the heck can you not want to be there Huh?

Come on Alaskans, Get er in gear & show your stuff in a big way.

We are also working on a seminar & more Great stuff , I will update that a little later.

Call Russell Knight at 907 344 5507
or RJ Simington at 1 877 281 0936

Flyers are being sent out to all Alaska Taxidermists.

for any questions you may have.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs even though checkered by failure than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much because they live in the grey twilight that knows neither victory or defeat.  Theodore Roosevelt

Well , did it get the point across Huh??

We get all kinds of calls wanting to know if the Open division is also the professional division & so forth.

I thought it would eliminate Stupid questions.

You will still have to pay a Whole $ 10. Membership fee to join the association, & if you want your points to count towards NTA certification or Award of Excellence, You must be a current member of NTA or Pay NTA membership at the show.

That's the cheapest membership I have ever heard of.

I will be giving a Seminar on Friday , Interpreting your Reference, & competition techniques.

There is going to be a Membership meeting to vote in new officers & discuss future show ideas.

As I said this show will be covered by a television crew that will air the competition on TV.

Mount registration day is Feb 24 2011 from 8am to 3 pm.

Late comers will not be turned away.

More to come
