Wingman-
Mega-thanx for your tutorial, nice mount and tutorial. I just took in my first peacock and your generosity in sharing these techniques are greatly appreciated. Of course, I now have further questions, if you are willing to share.
The mannikin you show appears to be a goose, am I close? I checked Research, it's not a peacock body

(didn't figure it would be, LOL). I assumed I would have to make or alter an existing mannikin. It would appear you utilized an unaltered mannikin, with the exception of the drumstick area and the removable back, is this correct?
What eyes did you use, if I may ask? I got this bird fresh, and the eyes are about 11mm. The iris color and pattern resembles the lighter Epply deer Tru-Eye, not very much like a turkey eye at all, IMO.
When I mount a pheasant, I cut the skin around the beak and remove the head like one would when using an artificial head on an average duck. I then clean and preserve, then rebuild with Apoxie-Sculpt, creating an artificial head of sorts. My question then is, will the peacock head pull out through that beak opening the same as the pheasant?
Thank-you for your help. Randy
