Accredited Taxidermy Schools?

Its true that accreditation for taxidermy schools is nothing more than a title that can be bought.
However, a good school is still the best alternative for anyone wanting to accelerate thier career in the field of taxidermy, and can eliminate years of trial and error.
There are lots of choices when it comes to schools, and like taxidermists themselves, the quality can and does vary.
Research thoroughly, and choose wisely.

Look ANDREW, you really don't want to get into a battle of wits with me.  I know a helluva lot more about YOUR Air Force than you'll ever know about mine.  We actually HAD Chiefs in my Air Force and they didn't have 3 silly strips on top to prove it.  You've been in TEN YEARS and you're already an E-5.  That already says you ain't the sharpest tack in the pack.  I was the Air Force First Term Reenlistee after 4 years and was already Staff by then.  At 10 I was working on Master Sergeant in a time where they weren't giving stripes away and you didn't get "points" for being latrine queen for a day.  I tried to give you some valid information and you tried talking down your snotty nose to me using propoganda from a website. I suspect you're a 702XX from your smart assed attitude.  Like I said, you have all the makings for a good taxidermist.

1993 about 18 years before he enlisted.  However, once a Chief, always a Chief. I'm still a member of the local Chief's Association as well as the national fraternal organizations (Air Force Association and AF Sergeants Association). As a retiree, you get a monthly publication call "The Afterburner" and you can see most of the "big changes" in the Air Force center around impersonating  actual fighting men. They've screwed with the enlisted stripes, diluted the decorations (medals and ribbons), gotten rid of the dress "garrison cap" and screwed with the colors enough to make a buzzard puke. When I retired as the aircraft maintenance supervisor here, I had 2,400 troops under my responsibilities. Today, Dover Air Force base probably has less total active duty enlisted people ON BASE than that.

An E5 after 10 years?  Better forget about the taxidermy and start doing the things to keep up with your peers.

I dont know about the AF but when I was in the Navy........Making rank had allot to do with your Rate as well............
Some Rates You could advance faster in than others.........depending on the need........
I came out as E5 after 4 years My self.........E5 in ten years is not that good..........

Keep digging that hole...I find it amusing how much you don't know. Also it saddens me that you wore a uniform the way you rant. Again, it only shows how much you don't know of today's AF. Do some research before spewing bs information to make it look like YOU were the AF. Oh and Roof, I never claimed to know anything about "your" AF, you my friend claimed to know mine...18 years ago eh, just a few changes off the top of my head, increased rotations to the AOR, force shaping, force reduction a fitness program which reflects in your rating. Oh, but you get a magazine so you already know all this!

Oh I almost forgot, the average promotion rate to Technical Sergeant is 10.69 years time in service...would you looky there! Seems someone is right on track.

My father retired in 1974 as sen. master,and boy have they changed things since then.My brother retired master sgt. and went to school to teach computers.

STAFF SERGEANT, you are an idiot and all you keep doing is proving it to those who DON'T know.  You have no idea obviously, but those sweet little "changes" since I retired are no different than they ever were. The military has reinvented the wheel since time began. Roman Centurions probably had similar stories. They just had other names and Jimmy Carter drug us to depths you can't even imagine. You have civilian contractors doing jobs now the were once held by GI's. The fact that you admit you know nothing about our history says even more about why you're stuck on E-5. I do know one more thing as well.  Your smart mouth is likely the reason for it and you'll never wear the uniform nor the stripes I did. I'm just glad that the non-military people can see that the service has more ZERO's than Hero's and before thanking someone, they should do a bit of research to see if they deserve it.
