After hours of reading my air brush question is when guys say they use a pasche or a badger, how are they better? More control , tend not to plug up as often?

I have an Airbrush City dual .
It is my first and only airbrush . Bought it used. and have nothing but problems with it.  Not sure if its the paint is old or thinned to much but I seem to have lots of problems.

I use water base from Van Dykes with no retardant but have tried Windex with minimal improvement  .  Seems to blow lots of air but very very little paint if any. Paint seems to maybe dry too fast . How long should I be able to air brush with no problems .  Right now I might get a minute or two before there is no paint exiting the head.  I pull out the head and blow air through it and I can see light through the pin hole . I wipe off the needle til its clean. The hole where the paint is sucked into always is full of paint  I sometimes fill a paint container with water and spray it through . Sometimes it works and most times it doesn't I sprayed mineral sprits through and seems to have lots come out.  If I thin the paint with Windex . I'm talking a couple drops to a half full paint cup  it gets very thin and will not cover any thing as it too transparent Then it starts to spit out paint.
I know I have a lot of problems but where can I start. This is a real pain in the butt.

Sounds like you got nothing but problems. I tried water-based acryrlics and I had all the same problems you are describing. I would bet its the paint. Try running some laquer based paint and I'll bet it will be ok. I'm always leery of water-based ANYTHING!

Would like to have gone with oil base but as I live in Canada the taxi companies will not ship cross the border.

My area of Canada has no airbrush paint available but if I wanted to do tole painting that's all over the place. I forgot a have a single action from airbrush city also.  Its the type that all mixing action is outside the brush nozzle.  Seems like no place for the paint to clog / dry up.
The paint sprayed great  but seems to pattern from 3/4 " wide to 1/4  with the fine tip. Much wider then the dual action.
So seems the paint is ok  not thinned and dual action must be clogging some where.
