Matt, great tutorial, I have several rebuilds to do, nothing like that but enough to make me nervous.

You mentioned you use acrylics, any particular brand.

Great tutorial...I'm just getting started in on taxidermy and dont plan on taking on a repaired antler anytime soon but posts like this really give us newbies a boost in confidence if something like this was to come along.

Are you going to post pictures of the completed mount?

Matt, just got in an Axis that this will be in-valuable for. Thanks for taking the time to post. This stuff helps all us new guys so much.

And Antlerman, Ive got the facilities, can come up with some willing students, you just have to get to South East Australia!!

As a new member to the forum and trying to start out in the business I have been following this re build for awhile. I must say it looks great and your step-by-step of the work you did was really helpfull in understanding the whole process.
