here is some work done by kastaway freeze drying which looks better than the picture can show

What is the difference between a common snapper and an alligator snapper? Everybody calls this kind an alligator snapper because of the big ridges on the tail

I looked it up the alligator snapper has big ridges on the shell and a lure in it's mouth and a more pointed beaks and rougher skin
