This is my first year skinning and tanning.  I use all the foxes that I call in as wall hangers.  I am using McKenzie brush on tanning oil and the tails on a few of the foxes I did look have oil on them.  Is it ok to rinse the hide once it is dry?

Thanks,

Gabe

If the hide is dried you can wash it again in warm water and a detergent then rinse. Also add a small about of salt (handful)
