A while ago I bought a batch of preserved baby turtles (red-ear sliders) and the seller sent me 3 free freeze dried babies along with them.  I don't want to keep all 3 but I have no idea what to price them at for rehoming.  A little advice?

From what I see I think $10 to $20  each would be a fair price.  They look very small and it's hard to tell the quality of some freeze dried critters from pictures.  If you told me they were done by someone like Joe Kulis then I would say you could get $20 to $30 each for them.  It seems that there are a lot of freeze dry techs that place critters in the machine and forget about them.  When I see things done by Joe Kulis, you can tell he pays attention to anatomy of the critter and he has the freeze dry thing down to a science which it is when done properly.  Now obvious this is just my opinion and you may find someone that is wiling to pay more.  Good Luck and hope this helps.  Dan

You might be able too.  You just have to try and maybe you will.  One thing is for certain, if you don't try you won't ever sell any.  Dan

I took the "I settled" part to mean he sold them.  I did send him a PM to see if he still has them though.
