I'm mounting a 12lb brown trout and 13lb Coho salmon recently caught in Lake Ontario, the only problem is coming up with a suitable habitat for these fish. They are both one sided wall mounts, he doesn't want them on  plaques and I think driftwood might be a little too bulky if I could find two pieces large enough. If anyone has any ideas or photos of mounts, it would be greatly appreciated!  Smiley

Thank You!

One option is no habitat. I use the mount mate hangers which stand off the wall and give a nice look. If you are using driftwood, don't use a huge piece and it won't look bulky or overpowering.

You might consider having the fish and he habitat as two separate pieces.  Use artificial rocks or a reasonable sized piece of driftwood that will hang on the wall below the fish.

Hope that helps, jerry
