I can't seem to find fiberglass chop anywhere and wondered if anyone can help me. I have tried the auto and marine dealers around here but all they carry is the matting and cloth. I bought some years ago and just finished it up and now can't find any. THanks.

Randy,

Call TFB at 586-566-7900. Talk to John. He sells all sorts of fill materials. He has chop, milled fiber, cabosil, etc.

Let him know I sent you.

I like the stuff Research Mannikins sells the best. It is about 1/2 inch and stiff. The stuff I've bought from McKenzie/Van Dyke's is really fine and gets waaayyy to stringy and hard to work with, if you are using it for bondo ears, in my opinion. Hate that stuff!!!

But I've only been using it to do bondo ears, so don't buy it in massive quantity like you may be wanting. (But could probably call to see if they'd have larger quantities you could buy.)

Did you do a search on the internet? Might also find some suppliers that way.
