I want to cast the  in  side of of the mouth for an open mouth
on some  snakes i got. I have some ideas but kinda new at casting. Any ideas
would be great. Thanks TAS

All you need to mold it with is alginate.  If you plan on pouring more than one mouth piece when you cast it then you need to make the mold out of good rubber silicone like mold max 15 which is a smooth on product.  You could also make your mold out of the alginate and then pour a cast using something like 300Q by smooth on, por a kast or even just bondo mixed with fiberglass resin. You could then mold the 1st cast with the rubber to have a long lasting mold so you could get 100's of cast out of one mold.  If this is all greek to you then drop me a line and we will see what we can do for you.  Dan

Psycho is so advanced in his casting skills that he forgot to mention that you first position the snake head in the desired pose then freeze it before casting. Grin
