I bought some leaves from mckinsey to use for habitate. they came pretty much smashed up. is their a trick to making them lay flat again and look real. I thought about just sending them back but figures I would probably get more the same? they are artificial leaves and feel waxy to me.

not laughing at all I actually thought of that but figured it would just stick to bottom of iron. would have already tried it but don't have an iron. thanks

You can get an iron very cheap at a thrift store. You won't need an ironing board for such a small project - just use your work bench.
Put a folded, barely damp towel over and under the leaves and then iron them flat. It works like a charm and you won't have to worry about them sticking.
