Every piece is individually cut out with a scrollsaw and sanded to different thicknesses and shape till it looks realistic so to say, i notched  the frame out at the nose and the tip of the antler so that it would give the appearance that it was walking out of the frame, also there is no staining just a variety of wood

I have drawn a few of my own but the pattern for this one was in a scroll saw magizine i just did some customizing, it does take awhile to do but well worth the final result and thank you for your kind words

lovely work, wel done.  I see these patterns in the wood working magazines and have always wanted to try it.  I love the fact that all the colors come from the different kinds of wood.

Excellent.  Reminds me of these puzzles I had as a child where only the objects inside were in pieces, not the entire thing.  I love this.
