What in the world are those? They look like something from a SciFi movie. Neat!

They're called Devil's Claws.  They are a seed pod and the claws are used to hitch hike around on the feet of hikers and legs of animals.  Cheesy  (they grab and don't let go until you pull them off)

Was going to the Quarai ruins and figured that was an excellent place to leave the first of my new project.  Monthly random gifts (don't start on the jokes, lol).

Test piece for a future necklace urn:

This one can be won in a raffle at my facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/GrygonCreations

This was going to be another urn test but I liked it so much as-is:

Love the carved skulls.  The piece with the insect wing is cool too.  It took a second to identify the wing, how did you get it in there?

Resin.  And the next ones I do will have a better background so the wing pops out more.

carved from one piece of antler, an "impossible object" with the ball forever trapped inside
more views of it here: http://grygon.deviantart.com/art/Caught-1-216534362

the shinies are resin with antler dust (from carving) packed inside
