hi all, was wondering if there is an easier way to do carcass casting than the way demonstrated by the jan van hoesen dvd from WASCO. any help is greatly appreciated.

That's the process. It's not easy to do.

alright, thank you both for your input. just figured if you can mold a rock in an easy way that a similar method could be used for carcass casting but i guess im wrong

Rocks don't have to be posed. They can't move and deform. They typically don't have multiple surfaces where you need to make a multipart mold. Rocks and carcasses, two way different subjects.

there is a good article in a past breakthrough by Chris Kruger on carcass casting , it is a little different than Jan's. and I found it a little easier when I first started casting.

alright thank you kj, im just startin out and it seems that all the animals i have to practice on are way too small for any comercial form that i can find. ill look into it,
