I am intersted in making a 3d gun target  and was wondering if the flexfoam would be a good choice. Also what densities would work best.

I would say flex foam 25, which is very dense. I am not sure how long it will hold up, but that's a good place to start.

Any reason you're considering Flex Foam over rigid Foam-it?

Can't see it holding up to a gun... bow yes... Guess it depends on the caliber of the gun... maybe .22 anything more I could see it blowing out chunks on the exit... not sure any foam would hold up to that but in fairness, I never tried it

Im really not expecting it to be indestructible, I know it will wear out. I have bow targets that I have shot to piece's in a very short time using field tips.
