I just got back from an antler repair class given by Tim Thacker (Antlerman) in Pocahontas IL. that I highly recommend. If you are sending repairs to someone else you need to look at attending a workshop with Tim or maybe hosting your own. It will save you money and turnaround time and his method is easy enough to learn that a dumb#%* like me can figure it out.  Grin My son Caden and I had a great time with Tim, who turned out to be a pretty nice guy.  Grin  He will be giving a demonstration of his repair methods at "Turtle Fest" along with seminars by a host of whitetail experts. He also gave us a sneak peek at the "Winery" where this "Midwest Regional Taxidermy Convention" will be held. Man, this place is awesome!  Five Star facility for sure!!
If you want to attend seminar's/workshop's (see the "Turtle Fest" lineup) taught by some of the best taxidermist's in the country for a bargain price you need to seriously consider making the trip to Pocahontas. Send your deposits in ASAP to Tim to guarantee a spot and to help cover the upfront cost's. It'll be well worth your time!!!

Who posted this??  LOL  Thanks Kendal.  The only hitch in the deal was when your Royals beat my Cardinals. LOL  I'm pleased that you found the class instruction duplicatable and enjoyed yourself. Caden is a fine young man. You have a lot to be proud of there. Will see you in Sept. and try to bring your wife. I think she too will love the winery. We are gonna have a blast.

I've got Jennifer thinking about coming so that's a good start. Smiley Thanks for the kind words about Caden. He's a great kid, but I'm a little worried that he thinks he canl set up shop and run me out of business! Grin Grin
