Im looking to step up my bird work.  All of the classes I have seen so far are a LONG ways away from central NC.  Anybody know of someone offering a waterfowl class/seminar within a day of NC?

Montgomery Community College offers classes in Troy, NC. That should not be too far from you. They are suppose to have the 3 day MTW class that last all day and also a evening classes. They are probably geared more for beginners though. Hopefully that helps. I plan on starting this January.
