Is molding plaster just another name for plaster of paris? I can't seem to find molding plaster. Especially in big bags and as cheap as in the video.

Try a contractor supply house the stuff you can buy at lowes and home depot is not the same, that stuff is for doing repairs on plaster walls... All the stuff I get says moulding plaster on the bag, you can also use hydrocal to which is stronger stuff.. From the local contractor building supply house it is about 40 bucks for a 100 pound bag, and if you buy ten bags they deliver free!

The last bag of molding plaster I bought I looked at the ingredient label.
INGREDIENTS>>>> plaster of paris

Troy....what you want is #1 Molding Plaster.....it usually is special order...it is not the same as Plaster of Paris
