Tmoos.....contact Specialty Effects Supply Corp.....get some Accu Cast 880 for the mold....cheap and very high end alginate used in the dental field.....you can cast the tusks using Dentastone mixed with plastic additive for plaster.....since Warthog tusks are never the same size, this is the best choice for individual tusks.....you can also tint the Dentastone with powder pigment or water based paint.....the finished project is very detailed, hard and has the same feel as the real tusk.....using the real tusks in a mount is only asking for problems down the road.....most will check and split in time......this method works very well and produces a very accurate repo of the real thing....hope this helps

Travis....glad to help.....key thing for the dentastone repos is the addition of the plastic additive.....without that, the finished product will have a pourus dried finish.....the additive will give you a much stronger repo with the feel and surface look of a real tusk
