I was looking on the website and thinking of ordering a gallon of OOMOO-25 and a gallon of Smooth cast 320.  Make a square dam out of plexiglass around a fish, put the fish in a bed of high fibre, pour the oomoo-25, demold, clean mold and fish, flip over and repeat.. in short of course.. is the OOMOO 25 a decent product to do this? 153.00 a gallon, or is their a cheaper pourable mold material.. Ive tried the bondo fiberglass method.. it works, but my molds suck.. LOL..

Thanks,

The OOMOO is a good choice and the price is correct. OOMOO has low tear strength so be careful demolding. But a fish should not have real heavy undercuts that would cause a problem. You can only stretch it 250% before it tears. Library life is also reduced with OOMOO. So, if you are looking at using the molds over time, past 6 months, you may want to use a different material.
Remember to use a release between the halfs. Get a can of Mann's Ease Release 200 at the same time. Use this as a release to allow you to get half A away from half B.

Oomoo it not a great product for a permanent mold. It mixes easily, pours nice but is the least durable of the smooth-on line. I've used it for quick molds that I was planning on making only a few pours from. Mold max 30 is a good choice for a longer lasting mold. It's 10-1 so you'll need a gram scale.
good luck
