I would make a difference as President.     I'll try to tell you how I think I can make a difference.

1.  The board passed a code of conduct.  a few board members refused to sign it.  I would ask them to sign it or resign.
2.  A couple of years ago the board asked for a full audit of the NTA books.  It is yet to happen.  I will push to have it done.
3.  I will to the best of my ability strive to act either myself or by appointment on any and all directives from the board. wheather I agree with it or not.
4.  I will guide the board to create real budgets for the NTA and for the convention.
5.  I will insist that board members conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times while I'm conducting a meeting.
6.  I have thirty Six years experience in a leadership capacity.  As a teacher, coach, Officer and board member of other organizations.
7.  I will strive to raise the level of business in the NTA to a level we all will be proud to be a part of.
I'm proud to be a part of it now.
8.  I have the time to invest in the NTA.
9.  I will seek input from the members and let their wishes be known to the board.
10. I will encourage members to become an active part in the NTA.
11. I will insist that all board dealings short of executive sessions be transparent and for all to see.
12. I will encourage all committee members to share and seek advise from other board members and keep no secrets from them.
13.  I will work with the Executive Director and inform him that criticizing board members, either, overtly or covertly is not part of the job description, and remind him he is an employee.
14.  I will treat members with dignity and respect, and assure them what they think is important, even though I may or may not agree with them.
