Looks nice, however my thought is Grey wood or weathered barnwood all the way to carry the look of the stump throughout the base. Great idea with the stump.

yes, barn wood would have worked well too. But this matches the rest of my furniture and it's a personal mount.

I built everything, wood base, rocks, stump, saplings, etc. headed to a competition next weekend. Will show more when I get back.... thanks!
And better photos. I took them in harsh sunlight casting too many shadows.
