You can get smaller quantities off of ebay. Thats were I got mine.

WASCO sells it in smaller quantities (5, 10 and 25 lbs.).

    Jim Allred sells a "Rock Mix" that looks killer & is EASY too!! Order what you need in different quantities and you don't have to worry about stocking up on large quantities that'l have to be stored.
    If you are using vermiculite(also referred to as insulated cinder/concrete  block filler)-check with a local block mason for his supplier.
    If you are using cellulose (shredded paper) in your mix-check with your local building insulators. They do still use this as blown insulation in attics, etc.
