I thought I saw a breeder selling skeletons and skulls a year or two ago.  Can't find the post.  Is it legal to own them from a breeder?  If so, please contact me or post a link.

I would definitely do more research on the legalities - but I would think since you can own one as a pet, owning the remains wouldn't be an issue. I'm assuming you're talking about buying it in the US - if it's outside the country you have import issues to deal with...Any if you can get your hands on one, congrats! I worked with an avian veterinarian and know that they start at $10k for a hand fed pet.

as long as it's bred here and not brought in from outside the states, it's legal. they are crazy expensive as a pet
