I started this this morning. I'm waiting for it to dry, then I'm going to paint it. I used Crayola air-dry clay. It's my second clay sculpture ever, not include pottery in school. First one was a horse head, and my last one I did was a horse sleeping laying down.
I plan to make more like this, because I don't think I did too well, being rushed makes that happen I guess. The antlers were a PAIN! I'll post some more pictures later, and after I paint it.
Can anyone offer me any critiques on this? I'd love to hear any. Next one I make is gonna look like a wall mount Smiley

I know it's a crappy picture, I'll get better ones.

It's pretty small too.

Thanks Skinner.

I'll post some pictures after I paint the buck in the morning- with a GOOD camera.
I finished the doe a little while ago. Her neck is a bit long, but notice the wood piece behind her? Huhuhuh? Haha.

Thanks! I'm going to put them up in my mom's gallery store. I wonder how much I could get for one of these...

Sure will. I have one painted horse head drying at the store, and a unpainted sleeping horse sculpture that I left there to dry overnight.
