weird no marks on the hide that i could see get to pulling of the hide and cleaning it up and.....





wonder if it got hit with a prop no puncture wounds except that tiny hole any ideas?

maybe would have expected a couple of puncture marks but who knows that may be what that little hole is. maybe it was a warning bite . this one was just over 8' long and had scars all over its tail. i have another skull with a perfectly round hole in the skull below the eye and towards the front more. thanks.

I see stuff like that quite a lot!
You never know what your going to find, they are amazing creatures.
Most holes in the skull have the skin grown over a a calcium type cartalige filling the hole this falls away after cleaning

thanks my sons head has a perfect 1/2 " hole looks like a drill or a huge tooth went straight down thrugh it i guess the reason i didnt notice it was because of the calcium your talking about. thanks your right about amazing lose a leg and they still grow to 11' pretty amazing just to survie the injuries
