 Any ideas on removing clear coat from a mount, not sure if it liquid crystal or what, i have about a six foot white/ blond gator to repaired.
 It's been sitting in a restaurant for a while, the clear coat is flaking off, coming off with laquor thinner but slow and tedious .
 Any one has a better or faster idea.

I think your probably going to be stuck with what you are using.  I can't think of anything else off the top of my head that will work better.  Maybe there is but I can't think what would work better.  The joys of fixing critters.   Grin
