I got a set of Gator eyes from McKenzie and I wasn't too impressed Undecided I grabbed my dremel and got the paint off the backs and painted them myself. It was as close as I could get to the real thing.

This is what the looked like

This was a pic posted on here that I used for reference

And this is what I ended up with. I'm still working on shape and all so please only judge color Cheesy

Redwolf, Van Dyke's carries reptile eye's in the catalog. They have a set that is in the chart for gators. They are sable, but they also have wheat, gold. You can choose based on they owners photos or there preference. They cost more, but have a lot of detail. Such as the veining up to the pupil.

I did see those, but wasn't sure how close they looked to the real thing. I'll probably check them out though. Thanks.

They look real good.
Sable is closest to real, but they do vary.
Most people prefer the olive down here.

As far as the gold and green tint to the eyes how are they? Are both colors there? Or is painting them myself better? I don't mind painting my own especially if I can get them closer to the real thing.

That was the pic you posted Cheesy

Here is the eye in olive.
One size big for this gator, but it is what I had at the time.
