Hello All -  A common "problem" with the Elmer's glue habitat method is wood absorbing moisture out of the glue mixture causing the Wood Base to warp or crack. Eugene Streekstra - Wildfowl Unlimited (AKA WINGMAN) helped put together the following visual/tutorial methods to avoid that issue.  You can also click into http://www.walnuthollow.com/images/projects/pdf/X7625_Avoid_warping_info.pdf for a nice printable full color PDF.  A special thanks to Eugene for his generosity and assistance in putting this together.  Going forward we will be including a complimentary color printout of these two methods with all of our taxidermy orders shipped.
