Just finished this bear claw necklace for a customer who did a half bear mount and wanted the back bear claws used to make a necklace.
There are some real neat pieces in the necklace.  Mood stones, snake vertebrae, yak bone, turquoise stone, turquoise pottery and more.
Very fun to build this rather "manly" necklace!

Another picture with different lighting that shows the turquoise color better.

Nice.  Did you drill a small hole through the claws or super glue them onto something?

Yes, I drilled a small hole. The tops of the claws are covered with epoxy then air brushed.
This gives you more room to drill.

If I can find the bear claws how much would you charge to make me a necklace exactly like this?   I take it you would need large claws?  Also do you know if a resident of Ill ( Freeport to be exact) and NOTHING to do with Chicago, can legally purchase and possess these claws?   Thanks    Gale

I just checked with the Il DNR and all I need is a Bill of Sale or invoice from the seller.   I have also located some claws If you would give me your phone number or Email address maybe we can proceed from there if you are willing to put together another necklace.  Will want to know if you want brown or black claws, I believe the one shown had brown, and if you want a complete set of claws as I would imagine you want to use the larger front claws.   Thanks   Gale

Gale, just got your email, sorry for not checking this more often.  I just finished another Bear claw necklace, it is a full bear, (20 claws, front and back)
I will post a picture of the new necklace tomorrow on here.
Also, will respond to you personal email about building you a necklace with more detail.

I just had Don make me two bear claw necklaces exactly like the one above. They turned out beautifully. Because it is just as cheap to buy a complete set of claws as it is to buy them individually I had him make two necklaces.  I am going to sell the one set.  will sell just for the money that I have in it.  It is exactly as the one above but if any difference the paws are ever ever so slightly shorter.  Believe me you won't be disappointed.  If interested give me a call at 815 821 4263 or Email me at gotto@hootsoft.com.    Thanks   Gale
