if there is anyone in the south east that has a head im in real need all i need is the head and about 3 inches behind . the customer wants an open mouth and i dont have enough left of the bottom jaw to patch , or any ideas woud be help full , . I was thinking of purching one of the repo heads and cutting off the bottom jaw as a repair . thanks mark c

Bob its only a 5 footer but it dont matter i can use any size they dont grow more thatn 2 1/2 across the head around here ive done 8 footer and it was a 2 3/4 head so im not to pickey just nee one you got ? mark c

I don't have any right now but if I was you I would contact millright and see if he has a real snake head. It would be easier to use a skin mounted head for an open mouth and just blend it.

You can repair the bottom jaw using a very thin coat of apoxie. Blend it in and then you can draw in your own scales or you could create a press mold of what you do have and then press it into the thin coat of apoxie to re-create the missing parts of the bottom jaw. You can do that with all kinds of parts of reptiles. Once you get it blended let it dry and then come back and paint it. Good Luck.

thanks for the tip ill keep it in my storage bin of tricks but im basicly lazey these days and want the real thing . i do however grt forced into doing hog mouths that way mark c
