I inherited a set of dall sheep horns.  No skull.  I purchased a dall sheep artificial skull from Van Dyke's (i believe), but the horn cores are way too small for this set of horns with 14" bases.  Does anyone know of alternative artificial skulls?

Couldn't you wrap the cores on the artificial with something to make them bigger in diameter?

The Antler Shack usually has some "bighorn" reproduction skulls ($149) and skull caps ($69) available on ebay. They would probably work if you're hoping to mount the horns. I'd be interested in buying the used one you don't like, if you decide one of the ebay ones will work for your needs. I just bought a nice set of horns and will likely need a skull, but buying new is never the best choice in my book.
